
ADAM FORMAN is a classically trained drummer/percussionist who has performed in a wide range of musical settings. He has worked with composer/director/multi- instrumentalist Joe Fee and the innovative collective IKTUS Percussion. His deep focus on improvisational practice and sensibilities allow for an inventive syntheses of his experiences in experimental musical performance, including his punk and indie-rock influenced work.
He has performed as a member of Talujon Percussion Quartet, Argento Chamber Ensemble, Fireworks Ensemble, Greenwich Village Orchestra, and Manhattan Symphonie and has been a house drummer on cruise ships and in Off-Broadway theater. He has been playing drums for the bi-coastal rock band Butterscotch Stanley for over a decade.
Adam is also co-director of Improv Spaces; a Capital region-based nonprofit that aims to provide resources for practice of improvisation through site-specific work with live performance, interdisciplinary jams, digital projects, and performative workshops.
