
Keary Rosen is an Assistant Teaching Professor in the Department of Arts, Culture and Media and Founding Director of Express Newark’s Form Design Studio and Lab. His teaching practice focusses on the use of technology in design and artmaking. His students learn three-dimensional, digital design and fabrication processes.
As the founding and current Director of the Form Design Studio and Lab in Express Newark, Rosen regularly works with Rutgers students, Newark high schools, professors, researchers, artists, Newark businesses, institutions, organizations, entrepreneurs, and individuals. He also runs educational outreach programs with students that range in age from 7 years old to senior citizens.
Keary Rosen received his BFA in Sculpture from The Maine College of Art and his MFA from Rutgers University’s Mason Gross School of the Arts. He is an interdisciplinary artist working in drawing, photography, video, performance, and sculpture. His work has been exhibited widely in numerous venues both nationally and internationally.
